<p>完成测试连接之后，轻触TEST (测试)按钮，然后根据说明执行，中途需要将OTDR保护跳线从光纤A更换到光纤B，如图8所示。更换保护光纤之后，轻触DONE (完成)。 完成测试之后，按SAVE (保存)保存结果。本例中，我们将结果保存为FIBER A和FIBER B，这是组成一条双光纤链路里的的两根光纤。</p>

<p>SmartLoop OTDR测试的结果表明，两根光纤的损耗相当。这能够确认OLTS环回测试的结果是有效的，每根光纤的损耗都较低。如果某根光纤有问题，我们则可以利用OTDR结果来隔离该光纤中的问题。至此就完成了1级和2级测试，并且我们已经验证了结果，现在可以利用福禄克网络的免费<span class='wp_keywordlink'><a href="http://www.faxytech.com/linkware" title="fluke Linkware">LinkWare</a></span>解决方案存档。</p>

<p>存档测试结果 在将结果下载到电脑版报告管理软件LinkWare PC (或上传到福禄克云平台LinkWare Live)后，就能够生成存档，证明光纤经过正确测试并满足相应测试标准的要求。下面利用电脑版报告管理软件LinkWare PC演示存档实例。</p>
<p>将项目的测试结果下载到了LinkWare PC。</p>
<p>作为报告的一部分，您需要检查测试参考跳线TRC检验结果。这表明，安装人员在测试期间使用的是测试参考跳线，且跳线状态良好。这就使顾问或审查人员能够相信测试的有效性。从图中高亮标记显示的部分，我们可以看出，测试参考跳线TRC的损耗小于0.25dB，是可以接受的。如果需要，您还可以保存TRC测试参考跳线的端面图像，证明其是清洁的。在第3行，我们可以看到OLTS环回结果，第4和5行是OTDR结果。我们可进一步展开OTDR结果，检查每根光纤的双向平均结果，这是最重要的测量结果。</p>

<p>首先确保已经保存测试结果，然后为最终用户生成测试报告。利用LinkWare PC，我们可以在一份报告中展示和保存全部三种结果：光纤端面检查、OLTS和OTDR曲线。</p>

<p>对于OTDR测试，标准要求双向平均结果。在使用SmartLoop OTDR功能时，OptiFiber会自动完成双向平均计算。</p>

<p>如要定位这种类型的应力，您可能需要测试两种波长：多模为850和1300nm；单模为1310和1550。在较长波长下，受应力的光纤将显示出明显较高的损耗，而通常较长波长会显示较低损耗。您可能还需要利用VFL来确定问题是否出现在破裂或扭曲的光纤，而不是尾纤连接器，因为轨迹上的事件通常会出现在连接器附近。</p>
<p>双向测试也很重要。如果尾纤与其正在熔接的光纤之间存在反向散射不匹配，则将在一个方向上看起来像增益(即负损耗)，在另一个方向上有过多损耗(即虚假损耗)。如果从两个方向进行测试，并对损耗进行平均，则可获得实际损耗。</p>

使用OTDR从光纤链路的一端测量损耗时，会显示出增益器现象，发生这种现象的原因在于OTDR测量的是光纤内的反射光。OTDR认为光纤的纤芯和包层尺寸等特性在整个长度范围内是一致的，没有差异，并根据检测到的反射光或反向散射光总量计算信号损耗。但即使两根相同类型的光纤连接在一起，可能也没必要裁减为相同的长度，所以仍然会存在差异，包括反向散射系数(表示光纤的相对反向散射水平的术语)不同。这就意味着作为OTDR的发射和接收跳线的光纤与被测光纤的反向散射系数可能不同。如果反向散射系数不同，可能会造成连接点之后反向散射量略微高于连接点之前，导致OTDR显示的损耗量低于实际值——增益器。</p>

术语“增益器”使其看起来好像增加了什么，您可能认为损耗值低于实际损耗值是好事。再仔细想想。增益器最终并未带给您任何东西，除了麻烦和成本增加。如果损耗测量结果低于实际值，您可能会误以为有足够的裕量可增加其他连接点、延长距离或仅仅是担保性能。但增益器是假性的，如果信以为真，会造成光纤链路最终不能支持相应的应用。</p>
<p>例如，一根150米长的OM4光纤的最大通道损耗为1.5dB，支持40 Gb每秒的速率(40GBASE-SR4)。如果您测得的损耗为1.3dB，您可能认为额外增加一个0.2dB的连接器是没有问题的。但是，如果您测得的损耗中包括一个增益器，而通道的实际损耗非常接近1.4dB，此时会发生什么情况？现在，客户会通知您过来并检查安装故障，以确定为什么不能实现应有的数据率。</p>

<p>首先我们要设置接入补偿，设置好接入补偿后，就可以进行测试了，图中是一段用过的<span class='wp_keywordlink_affiliate'><a href="http://www.faxytech.com/tag/otdr" title="查看 OTDR 的全部文章" target="_blank">OTDR</a></span>端口光纤，关于这么做的原因，我们暂时不透露啦，这里先留一点悬念。桌上放置的有光纤还有尾纤，我们已经连接到被测链路上了，我们要在这个方向和另一个方向进行测量，并且我们要从OTDR上断开，我们使用这个12英寸，也就是30厘米光缆的原因是保护OTDR端口，因为当我们在另一个方向测量该链路时，将要将从OTDR端口上断开，因此将这根短线缆放在这，则可以总是更换这段线缆，更换这根短线缆确实比在OTDR端口上操作容易得多，我们这么做是因为它非常短，并且位于OTDR端口<span class='wp_keywordlink'><a href="http://www.faxytech.com/archives/insertion-loss.html" title="衰减">衰减</a></span>死区范围之内，您永远不能将短线缆连接至接入光纤的末端，试图将其从一个连接器转换为下一个连接器，因为如果这么做，就会将两个事件作为一个事件进行测量，使本应该通过测试的链路无法通过测试，这么做没有问题，但是，永远不要将这根短线缆置于接入光纤的末端。一切设置都已完毕，现在我们就开始进行测试吧！</p>

<p>开始进行测试吧！我们刚刚确认已经按下了 Home（主页）键，轻按 Test(测试)，进行测试时，会看到我们的OTDR端口连接质量，并且会看到正在构建轨迹，其中有两个小毛刺，代表台面上的两处连接。首先，屏幕上出现EventMap（事项导图），在EventMap上，您会注意到有三段光纤，第一段为灰色，是我们的接入光纤，最后一段也是灰色，是我们的尾纤，它们为灰色，表示我们实际上用的是接入光纤和尾纤补偿，因此，这里显示的长度仅是我们实际测量的光纤长度。大多数进行OTDR测量的人们期望查看OTDR轨迹，轻按 Trace(轨迹)，此处显示的就是我们在仪器上获得的轨迹，这是全功能的OTDR测试仪，这就是所谓的“粘性”，因此下次进行测试时，你不会看到EventMap，你会看到Trace，许多人喜欢花时间来分析轨迹，您可以利用这台OTDR进行分析，这台仪器甚至具有选中和缩放功能，现在我们选中并放大其中的一个事件，利用这种仪器，您确实可以进行所有您想做的分析，但是，事实上现在大部分人进行OTDR测试时，并不是测量1-2根光纤，他们测量的光纤数量成百上千，每次测量时都浏览和分析每条轨迹真的不切实际，这就是创建EventMap的原因，但如果您没有 <span class='wp_keywordlink'><a href="http://www.faxytech.com/archives/fluke-optifiber-pro-otdr.html" title="福禄克Fluke OptiFiber Pro">OptiFiber Pro</a></span>，您要做的是查看表格视图，轻按 Table （表格），这种方式简单一些，但你仍要阅读一大堆数字，但是，如果你查看 EventMap，则会简单很多，还可以查看记录中的最大损耗事件。现在，您会看到这里有另一个连接器，现在轻按那个连接器，您会发现信息框跳走了，现在正在显示另一个连接器的损耗，这是该测试仪的独特之处，您可以轻按链路上的不同连接，如果连接超过两个，所有的连接均会报告出来，接头用小圆点表示，连接的表示图形如屏幕上所示，现在测试完成了，需要进行保存，但是我们只完成了一个方向的测量，现在按 Save（保存），你会注意到在右上角有End 1的字样，这是因为我们目前进行的是End 1的测试，屏幕上显示的01A，至少我们电缆ID序列，轻按 Save进行保存，接下来您需要进行另一个方向的测量。</p>

<p>我们先<strong>断开</strong>接入光纤，然后盖上保护帽，将其连接至另一端，我们将要在另一方向测量光纤，在我们进行测量之前，我们还有一件事需要做，轻按 Home 以及电缆ID,我们刚才从End1进行测试，现在，我们不要再从End 1 测量了，我们从End 2测量，因此，移动至End 2，然后轻按 Done （完毕），希望在主屏上显示的是End 2 ? 01A。如果不将 End ?1变成End ?2 将会怎样？如果您试图再次将其保存至 01A，测试仪将会<strong>报警</strong>，提示您已经保存了该测试结果，但是通过将电缆ID转换为 End ?2，测试仪<strong>足够智能</strong>，它能够明白你是从另一端开始测试，并且<strong>保存测试记录</strong>，还会为两个方向的光纤测试创建一条记录。</p>

<p>现在开始测试，再次屏幕上显示OTDR端口质量，屏幕上出现了“增益器负损耗，发现事件”的警告，对于很多OTDR用户来说，这种情况他们并不熟悉，实际上发生的是，对于一个连接器来说，测试中使用的光纤和被测试光纤之间的反向散射系数存在<strong>轻微不匹配</strong>，正常情况下，这个警告会让人有点担心，但是在这种情况下，<strong>没什么问题</strong>，轻按 Okay，轻按EventMap上的另一个连接器，此时屏幕显示负损耗值为 -0.05，如果负损耗值大于<strong>-</strong><strong>0.2 db</strong>，则会在测试报告上看到警告信息，那如何去除负损耗警告呢？标准预计会发生这种情况，所以规定要做的是在两个方向都进行测试，现在我们在两个方向都进行测试，公式的第二个部分是<strong>下载结果</strong>，对测试方向进行平均，在下期视频中，当我们下载测试结果时，我们将进行平均，负值将会<strong>消失</strong>，最终我们将得到正值，不仅会变成正值，还能够更加代表该连接的损耗。</p>

<p>注意:可将可视故障定位仪连接至具有 2.5 mm 金属环的接头（SC、ST 或 FC）。要连接至其它尺寸的金属环，可使用一端带有适当接头，测试仪端为 SC、ST 或 FC?接头的基准测试导线。</p>
<p>1 清洁并检查跳线（如已使用）以及待测光纤上的接头。</p>
<p>2 将光纤直接连接至 VFL 端口或使用跳线以连接至端口。</p>
<p>3 使用 VFL 按钮以打开可视故障定位仪。或在主页屏幕上轻触工具，然后轻触可视故障定位仪 (VFL)。可以在屏幕上轻触 脉冲/ 关闭/CW（连续波）按钮以更改 VFL 的模式。</p>
<p>4 查找 上图中所示的红光。</p>
<p>5 要查看从接头中发出的光线，请在光纤接头的前面持握白纸。注意?VFL 上的光纤接头和接头附近的光纤会在无故障时发射红光，因为 VFL 输出端的光线十分强烈。通过黑色光纤插座可能无法看到 VFL 的光线。</p>
